Issue 121 is the 20th Anniversary edition of Make-Up Artist magazine. It is the longest issue ever published, 170 pages when a typical issue runs 114 pages.
The overall goal of this issue was to honor the make-up professionals who make our publication possible. Titled “20 Years of Epic Artistry”, we fashioned a photo feature style article that would document artists and their talents and it would be accompanied by a tri-fold cover featuring top artists with some of their most epic work.
I organized photo shoots in Los Angeles, New York and London where we captured imagery of over 75 award-winning professional make-up artists. I worked with 5 photographers, 3 videographers, countless assistants, several movie studios and my senior designer to create an amazing cover and interior spread.
